One of my smallest collections is made up of old school metal lunch boxes from the ’70s.  At the end of each summer, Mom would take me up to the store and let me pick out any lunch box I wanted for the year.  One of my first was this beauty right here…

 

Granted, this isn’t the one I had but thanks to the glory of eBay I have another one.

I absolutely adored the TV show “Kung Fu” and watched it with Mom every week.  The teachings of Master Po and Master Kan resonated with me very much and I often think of some of their quotes even to this day.

My personal favorite came from Master Kan when he said “Remember always that a wise man walks with his head bowed, humble like the dust.”
